New Opportunities!

Exciting news!  The last several months we have been working hard to bring you more opportunities to get involved in the Child Life Disaster Relief mission.  There are several new opportunities now available, for more details and to check them out, visit our opportunities page.

Locally, we are still working on a systematic implementation model for child life specialists to respond to community emergencies and disasters.  Current opportunities include the roles of: CLDR local responder, CLDR local program manager, CDS rapid responder, and CDS regional or local area coordinator.

Nationally, we are coordinating efforts with Children’s Disaster Services (CDS) to deploy to large-scale disasters.  Current opportunities include the roles of: CDS certified volunteer, and the CDS critical responder.

Internationally, we are information gathering and networking with various organizations.

Want to support CLDR but cannot work directly at the scene?  Here are opportunities for you!
