Alyssa Cooperider is a Certified Child Life Specialist working in the pediatric emergency room at Newton-Wellesley Hospital in the Boston area. She has a strong interest in trauma work and international child life experiences while incorporating dance and expressive arts with hospitalized children. She is working towards her masters degree in Licensed Mental Health Counseling as well as Dance Therapy at Lesley University. Alyssa is additionally a certified car seat technician, certified lactation counselor and certified educator of infant massage. In her spare time, she enjoys teaching ballet classes and practicing yoga. Alyssa is honored to support Child Life Disaster Relief and looks forward to continuing this advocacy work on a local level.
