Christa Wells received her Bachelor’s from The University of Texas at Austin in Psychology. She is dually certified as a child life specialist and special educator in the state of Texas. She worked as a high school teacher in the city of Houston for two years prior to pursuing the child life profession. Currently, she is a child life specialist at Texas Children’s Hospital in the Emergency Center. She began her volunteer service with Child Life Disaster Relief in the Spring of 2023 and is incredibly passionate about CLDR’s work in providing individualized support to children and families in crises. In her spare time, Christa enjoys playing sand volleyball, sewing, and traveling abroad
