Tammy has been a CCLS since 1994. She has used her skills in various hospitals and settings. For the last 18 years, Tammy has worked in the pediatric and PICU units at Kaiser Permanente Roseville, California, where she is also a Child Passenger Safety Technician. Tammy is a member of the local Safe Kids coalition, serving on both the water safety and child passenger safety committees. She also has experience as an early intervention specialist, where she specialized in working with children with medical diagnoses and their families, in their homes. 

As a PeaceLove Creator, Tammy uses expressive arts to help children and families process and express their feelings about trauma. Being a Life is Good Playmaker helps her approach life with a joyful and optimistic spirit and share that with others.
