Tim Settles
Tim Settles currently serves as the Deputy Director for the Ashtabula County Emergency Management Agency and has 36 years of experience in the emergency management field. He has worked on more than 50 national disasters, including the Northridge, CA earthquake (1994), the Oklahoma City bombing (1995), the 9/11 terrorist attack (2001), Hurricane Katrina (2005), and Superstorm Sandy (2012).
Tim holds a Master of Science in Emergency Management from Millersville University, a Bachelor of Science in Homeland Security and Emergency Management from Thomas Edison State University and an Applied Associate of Science in Emergency Management Planning and Administration from Lakeland Community College. He is actively involved with disaster planning for many disciplines, including education and healthcare. He is a member of the Board of Directors for Child Life Disaster Relief. He serves on numerous local, state, and national committees and associations for the betterment of emergency management.

Tim was involved with response planning activities for the 2014 Super Bowl XLVIII, the 2015 Pope Francis World Meeting of Families visit, the biennial Air Show at Joint Base McGuire, Dix, Lakehurst in 2014 and 2016, the Miss America Pageant from 2013 to 2015, and various other events.
Tim loves to read and collect bookmarks in his spare time, he is a Civil War buff, and spends many hours trying to keep up with the grandchildren.
