Children’s Disaster Services in Hawaii

For the past month our partner, Children’s Disaster Services, has had two volunteers supporting children in the Pahoa shelter part-time.  With kids now out of school and numbers increasing, Children’s Disaster Services sent a team of four more volunteers to work in the Pahoa and Keaa’u shelters.  Together, they have served over 145 children.  Please continue to keep the people of Hawaii, responders, and volunteers in your prayers as the conditions continue to be uncertain – the shelters are prepared to evacuate at any time.

  1. Wondering if we can help those children/families at the border being separated…is there any way we can get involved with this?
