Rebecca Horn, MD, MPH
Rebecca Horn, MD, MPH is an anesthesiologist in the Philadelphia area and has been practicing medicine for 17 years. She also holds her Master in Public Health with a specialization in international medicine and disaster. Throughout her career, she has dedicated herself to public service ranging from creating free medical clinics in North Philadelphia with high risk populations as a medical student at Temple’s Lewis Katz School of Medicine; medical mission work around the world including with Operation Smile in Kenya & Cambodia and Cardiostart International in Peru; and working to collaborate with other health professionals to coordinate and bring relief to disaster stricken areas. Rebecca is Founder of ChronAid, Int., an organization created to help those with chronic disease in disaster and she has also partnered to develop other initiatives such as Coqui Cards, through the Coqui Education Fund. After partnering with Child Life Disaster Specialists in both Hurricane Dorian and after the earthquakes in Puerto Rico, she now excitedly joins our board.
Rebecca is a native of the Washington, DC metropolitan area and now lives in the Philadelphia suburbs with her family.
