Kristina is a technical curriculum developer & Computer Science Educator, Cybersecurity Professional, and self-taught front-end developer. Kristina is a proud FSU alumnus—go, Noles! She is currently pursuing a Master of Science Degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance.
Kristina has worked in the non-profit sector for the past seven years serving K-12 students, adult learners, veterans, and justice-impacted individuals seeking second-chance employment opportunities. In her volunteer efforts, her favorite group to work with is K-8 students. Especially, in community activities like helping the Girl Scouts earn their STEM badges, sponsoring robotics competitions, and coaching teen Poetry Slams teams. Kristina’s mission is to close the socioeconomic gap in the technology workforce by providing education, mentorship, and resources to vulnerable populations, and promoting gender, race, and income equity in access to STEM education and careers for a more inclusive workforce. Kristina’s favorite humble educator flex is that 100% of all female students enrolled in her AP Comp. Sci. programs went on to declare Computer Science as their college major. #WomeninSTEM
