Erin Silber is dually certified as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist and Certified Child Life Specialist and has been a CCLS since 2009. She first worked at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in the Child Protection Center working with children who were physically and sexually abused and then at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Tampa, FL, on the GI-Medical/Surgical unit. Erin recently began her new career venture as a Child Development Specialist at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital where she is now performing developmental screens as well as providing parent support and education out in the Tampa Bay Community for families. Erin has been a volunteer with Children’s Disaster Services since April 2015, is the Tampa Bay area CDS representative, and has worked closely with Tampa Bay local Red Cross.
