This training is a LIVE WEBINAR and the recording will not be made available.
A live 4.5 hour training focusing on assessment, interventions and best practices for working directly with children and families after disasters. This live 4.5 hour training is required for the “Collaborative Track” to become a CLDR Disaster Responder and allows for a dynamic and collaborative learning environment. All participants must be certified child life specialists (CCLSs).
FEMA 100, CLDR 101, 102, and 103 are highly recommended, but not required.
A pre-deployment just-in-time training will also be required for any deploying CLDR Responders. This training will be free and focused on specifics of the disaster response including cultural factors and best practice for interventions based on timing of disaster response.
