Mary Lou has her Bachelors in Business, Sales and Marketing and her Masters in Teaching from University of Southern California, where she is currently serving on the Alumni Education Network Board. She additionally holds certification in Nonprofit and Arts Management from the University of Washington. Her career has been multifaceted as she was a successful broker for Re/Max in Seattle, an online dual-credentialed teacher to over 600 high school students per year in Washington state, and state director for the NW Sarcoma Foundation. A professional clarinetist, she started the Arizona Wind Symphony in 1999.  She has started several other nonprofit organizations, served on several boards, and assisted her daughter Jillian – a Certified Child Life Specialist at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital with her nonprofit, Spark Your Heart.
