A Certified Child Life Specialist and member of Child Life Disaster Relief, Corinne Joplin, deployed Friday with our partner Children’s Disaster Services (CDS) to Jefferson City, Missouri. In one-day, her and the CDS team were able to work with over 30 children who had been affected by an F3 tornado and severe flooding in the area.
Boon Murray, another Certified Child Life Specialist and member of Child Life Disaster Relief, has joined a Children’s Disaster Services team to support children affected by flooding in Dayton, Ohio. She will be working with children impacted by tornadoes for 2 weeks.
